Kuntu Repertory Theatre
DESCRIPTION: Kuntu is reflective of African Art, Philosophy and Life; see one of a kind plays from established and up-and-coming playwrights; many of August Wilson’s plays were performed here before he went on to Broadway fame; Kuntu has offices at University of Pittsburgh, Department of Africana Studies; most plays are performed at Stephen Foster Memorial Auditorium at the University of Pittsburgh

Jazz Hall of Fame
DESCRIPTION: Established in 1977, this small self-guided museum celebrates the achievements of jazz greats such as Dizzie Gillespie, Charlie Parker, Sonny Rollins, Grover Washington, Jr., Clark Terry and Pittsburgh jazz musicians such as Errol Garner, George Benson, Stanley Turrentine, and Nathan Davis; exhibits include instruments donated by several of the aforementioned musicians
